Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Artist's Description

Many years ago, before I tried my hand at watercolor painting, I drove along Hwy. 299 in Northern California for a day trip and came upon this very old moss-crusted tree with an impressive vista beyond it and made a quick turn off the road to take a photograph. Little did I know that day that this tree was a special landmark with the locals, known affectionately as the "Snag Tree." Later, when I decided to paint the stormy sky and endless vistas of this scene, I thought about my center of interest for the painting...this ancient tree with so much personality in the company of comparatively newer forest growth. Surely this tree had much to tell if it could talk, thus the title, "Old Soul of the Forest." I also received my first painting award in a juried show for this piece.

About Sandi Howell

Sandi Howell

After 32 years of teaching elementary school, I decided to retire. Just prior to my retirement, I took a few watercolor classes at Shasta College to see if all the "desire" to paint that had been waiting patiently for its turn in my busy life could materialize into something that would represent my best efforts to replicate the beauty I see in the world. I wanted to share it in such a way that people would want to "take the closer look" and further appreciate the world and creation around us. In the first two years, I produced 20 paintings and framed them all with the encouragement of my husband (who doubles as my easily available art critic). As I painted more and more, I became more adept at putting together the elements that create...
